Attracted to the chaotic bush this is a simple but effective painting. As I say to the students This painting ‘fell off the brush’.
Technique: colour transparency and impasto paint.. This painting contains the gamut of all the techniques used in oil painting. It contains all colour with some being transparent, some opaque, some dark and some light with white added.
Painted on site in Beechworth it has a freshness common to enplein air painting.
